The use of renewable sources has increased every year in the Brazilian energy matrix.

With a strategic vision for the future, the Penha Group has adopted this responsible practice in its process since 2006, with the creation of a support unit – Penha AgroFlorestal – located in the state of Bahia. Covering 4,556 hectares, this energetic forest is responsible for the management of bamboo that serves as clean and renewable energy to supply the boilers of our paper mill.
